A Scope & Sequence was needed when new K-2 print curriculum was added to existing 3-12 online education. The Scope & Sequence design needed to be easily digestible for both print and online consumption. The final design is twenty-four 8.5x11 sized pages with CMYK full bleed. The text is large enough to easily view on screens without feeling overwhelming in the print version.

To capture the essence of the brand and curriculum worktexts I utilized the colors and graphics present in the different curriculum subjects – red for math, green for social studies, blue for science, and yellow for language arts. The cover incorporates graphics from each worktext and the black represents the combination of all the subject specific colors.

In addition to a summary and bulleted list of curriculum high points, I created mockups showcasing the colorful and engaging inside of the student book and the detailed teacher’s guide. The design is simple, straight-forward, and clean allowing all information to be concise and easily accessible to the user.
